How and where to vote
The Prague 1 council has 27 seats. The ballot is one large sheet with every list on it – and there are three ways to fill it in. Below you will also find a map of every polling station in Prague 1 and its accessibility.

Bring with you
Your ID card, passport or residence card. Without a document the committee cannot let you vote.
Voter certificate
The Czech voličský průkaz is not valid in municipal elections. You can only vote at the polling station for your address in Prague 1.

You can tick up to 27 names across all the lists on the ballot. Each name gets one of your votes.

3 Combination
A list plus individuals
Tick one list and add names from other lists. Your chosen list then receives votes only for as many of its candidates as remain up to 27 – counted from the top of the list.

The strongest support for our slate is a single cross next to the list.

You can vote in these elections – but you have to register first
Czech citizens with permanent residence in Prague 1 are on the voter roll automatically. Citizens of other EU member states are not: you have to ask to be added to the supplement to the permanent voter list (dodatek stálého seznamu voličů) for Prague 1. It is a single form, and once you are on the list you stay on it for future municipal elections.
Who can register
A citizen of another EU member state who is at least 18 on the second day of the election and holds permanent residence or a registered temporary residence in Prague 1.
Where and how
In person at the Prague 1 town hall, Vodičkova 18, with your ID or residence card. Ask for the dodatek stálého seznamu voličů. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 – 18:00.
Deadline
No later than two days before the first day of voting – by 16:00 on 7 October 2026. After that the roll is closed and cannot be changed.
On election day you vote at the polling station for your address, the same way as everyone else. Bring your ID.

Find your polling station
Each station has a 300-metre circle around it so you can see what is closest. Which station you belong to depends on your registered address – you will find it on the notice posted in your building. Step-free stations are highlighted (there are 5).
The address is matched right in your browser – it is not sent anywhere.
Station locations follow the addresses published on the official notice board of the Prague 1 town hall. Accessibility is listed as published by the town hall.
